Censorship in Thailand

On March 5, the Thai police raided the office of a political website called Prachatai, and arrested its webmaster: Cheeranuch Premchaiphorn.

The offense was Lèse majesté (injury to majesty), the act of denigrating a monarch or a state.

I wonder how long it will be before 0bama and his sycophants in the Democrat party and the leftist media propose similar laws here in the USA.
