Recall Senator Mel Martinez

Some Floridians have set up a website to gather signatures for a petition to recall US Senator Mel Martinez (R- Florida). According to the website, Martinez was quite vocal in his opposition to amnesty for illegal aliens during his campaign for election as a senator in 2004:

"Our immigration policy should first and foremost ensure the security of our great Nation and those individuals posing a terrorist threat should be prevented from entering our country. I strongly oppose amnesty for illegal aliens; our immigration laws should not reward lawlessness."

But more recently this clown went back on his promises (as did Bush) and has led the charge to grant amnesty to some 12 million lawbreakers.

Wouldn't it be cool if the people of Massachusettes recalled Fat Teddy? We can always dream!
