What's the "bitterly" reference?
Have you ever read Medic Mauser's blog. He has a lot of gun pics.
My personal favorite was the pink "Hello Kitty" model. I'd love one of those. In the picture an Hispanic or Asian man was holding it, smiling.
It would go so well with my "Hello Kitty" wallet.

'bitterly' refers to Barack Obama's comments about rural Pennsylvanians 'clinging bitterly' to guns and religion, rather than vote for hip leftists like him who sneer down at them. It's amazing how ungrateful the little people can be towards their betters.
